Poll Discovers Americans Prefer Smart Growth

A recent survey indicates public support for improving existing communities and managing new development.
Respondents in Smart Growth America's National Survey on Growth and Land Development said that they supported the idea of smart growth. 76% of those polled also felt the state they lived in need to do more to manage and plan future growth.
