Designing A Home For Digital Arts

Architectural firms are competing to design a museaum for digital arts in New York...and the list of fifteen semi-finalists has some surprises.
"Eyebeam Atelier, a SoHo-based not-for-profit new media arts organization, pared the list of competing firms on Wednesday from 30 to 15. They will compete to design a $40 million, 90,000-square-foot museum devoted solely todigital arts." Firms that made the semi-finalist list "might now be seen as architectural pioneers."
