urban studies student w/ research questions for planners

my name is daniel carpenter and i'm a student at usf majoring in urban studies. i'm conducting some research for my public administration class on why planners choose either the public or private sector, and their satisfactions and discontents within said sector(s). i'm looking to get data from someone who works for the government, private sector, and has worked for both, if you could be of assistance i would greatly appreciate it.
5-10 questions will be posted soon.
