According to the National Association of Home Builders, this is the first time in more than a decade that housing has been so prominently mentioned in the campaign rhetoric. Housing has played a major role in the country's economic expansion, and the candidate's positions on housing are likely to be an important consideration for the sustained growth of the homebuilding industry.
