A new Census study reports that city populations boomed in the South and West, and shows new city population rankings.

Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada grew faster than any other cities with over 100,000 in population in the 1990s, according to a new Census Bureau report. By the end of the 1990s, 224 cities claimed a population of more than 100,000 -- six more than in the previous year and 29 more than in 1990.
