Amtrak Ready To Release Fast Train

After more than a year of delays, Amtrak has the nation's first high-speed train and will begin express service between Boston and Washington in December.
The new trains will compete with air shuttle service between Boston-New York and Washington-New York, and will reach speeds of 150 mph, up from a current top speed of 125 mph for conventional trains. An advanced tilting system allows the trains to take curves at higher speeds, cutting travel time but not affecting the ride for passengers.
