Historic Trust OKs $12 million for 49 Preservation Projects

New Jersey's ambitious preservation effort approves first batch of historic preservation projects.
"The Garden State Preservation Trust wants to save more than New Jersey'sfarmlands and open spaces.Yesterday, the board that is accustomed to making sure land will be safeguardedfrom buildings in thefuture came up with $12 million to preserve a few buildings from the past."
