Colorado Agriculture Giving Way To Sprawl

Farms in Boulder County, CO are being gobbled in by steady urban development. In their place are "designer" farms.
"Between 1992 and 1997, more than 27,800 acres of prime, irrigated farmland were gobbled up in Boulder County as cities annexed ground to make room for growth, according to the Colorado Department of Agriculture. There are about 480,000 acres in Boulder County."
