Finding Exurbia

The Brookings Institution sheds some light on the growing number of "exurbs" in the United States.
In this presentation at the 53rd annual meetings of the North American Regional Science Council, Alan Berube presents findings from a new Brookings report that provides a comprehensive look at where exurbs -- fast-growing areas at the urban/rural fringe -- are located in the United States, who lives there, and what factors may be fueling their expansion.
