East African Capital City Proposes Master Plan Project

Kenya's land surveyors, town and physical planners, engineers, and architects will target Nairobi's blighted areas and try to prevent future unplanned developments.
Officials of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) say "the exercise would determine location of commercial buildings, residential areas, health centres and roads, among other structures. Once it is prepared the plan will serve the city for about 30 years and form the foundation for development."
