Public Input On Homelessness Sought

Contra Costa County officials are asking for public input on solving the growing problem of homelessness.
"Once perceived as a problem affecting single men, homelessness no longer discriminates. Women, children and the elderly are found in greater numbers on the streets of Contra Costa County. And rising rents are pushing more families out, say those who work with the county's homeless population." Contra Costa County officials are asking for public input on solving the growing problem of homelessness at a series of public meetings starting today.
