Renewable Energy Is Blowing In The Wind

Editorial argues that wind energy is viable and a necessary part of the nation's energy strategy.
"Wind generation of electricity is still a minor source of power, but its potential is enormous, and the need is clear. Local concerns about proposed wind farms must be addressed, but the concerns must not be allowed to block development of wind generation...The time has passed when wind energy could be considered a feel-good environmental energy source that, some day, could be of real use to us. It needs to be developed rapidly for the sake of our environment.
