A dangerous ballot-box assault on the quality of life in the Sacramento region will appear before California voters in the form of Measure O.
"This disguises the underlying issue of Measure O, and that is sprawl: sprawl of the most dangerous kind; sprawl without a long-term water supply; sprawl that forces the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors to accept one developer's desire to turn some spectacular oak woodlands into a gated complex of golfing and high-priced homes. "
