Bocce ball in the inner city? Sacramento Bee writer Bob Sylvia looks at new urbanism on an embattled street in a longtime Hispanic neighborhood.
"There is a new diversity here," says Edgar. "There is a 'New Urbanism.' " He points to his own arrival in this longtime Hispanic neighborhood, as well as other unlikely interlopers, including this swarm of ex-Bay Area, Vespa-riding kids who have upgraded a derelict house around the corner.
