They're Poisoning Our Kids

A new report prepared by the NationalEnvironmental Trust, Physicians for Social Responsibility, and theLearning Disabilities Association of America claims that neurological toxins released into the environment are"linked to millions of cases of developmental disabilities in children."The report ranks Louisiana and Texas as the worst air and water polluters and provides information "broken down by state and county, as well as by the types of industries that are the major polluters.Chemical manufacturers, paper manufacturers, makersof metal and plastics, and electric power utilities emitthe most neurological toxins, the report said."
