Pueblo -- once known only for its pollution -- has been selected as one of America's Most Livable Cities. How did Pueblo do it?
Pueblo, Colorado -- the city long called "Pew Town" for the pollution that streamed from the smokestacks -- has been selected as one of America's Most Livable Cities by the Washington-based nonprofit Partners for Livable Communities. Other named cities include, were Cleveland; Rochester, N.Y.; and Charlotte, N.C. The Denver Post reports on how Pueblo turned itself around.
