Greening Montreal Through Enhanced Public Transit

How to make Montreal greener and Kyoto-compliant by reducing car use and increasing public transit use.

"Montreal, experts say, is well positioned to become a model city on climate change in Canada, and perhaps worldwide, if it can build on the transportation advantages it already has...It's clear that the trend is going the wrong way. But if Montreal could improve and expand its public-transit system, surveys and past experience show the population is more than willing to use it."
