Scientists say the Big Easy is sinking and could be underwater in 50 years.
Built on the soft Mississippi silt, 70 percent of New Orleans is already below sea level."Every 15 minutes, an area the size of a football field sinks underwater. That means every year, 25 square miles of land is lost."
