Colorado Town Trying To Stay Small

The 45 residents of Colona, Colorado want their town to stay small, but the town's zoning has come under scrutiny.
The 45 or so folks who live in Colona, Colorado want the town to stay small. Although Colona is unincorporated, a town plat from 1906 remains a blueprint for zoning. Under that plan, the county allows one residence every 6,000 square feet in the 9.5 acres that make up the Colona plat.
