Analysis: Many Tribes Lost Casino Gamble

Analysis of federal data indicates that explosion of Native American gambling revenues in the 1990s has not benefitted most tribes with casinos.
Computer analysis of federal unemployment and poverty data indicates that most Native American tribes have not benefitted from the casino boom of the 1990s. "Two-thirds of the American Indian population belong to tribes locked in poverty that still don't have Las Vegas-style casinos. "
