Since last Thursday 25 buldings have crumbled and officials say another 3,100 are in imminent danger of collapsing.

A series of building collapses have drawn attention to Philadelphia's neglected neighborhoods where decades of insufficient maintenance has put another 3,100 buildings in imminent danger of collapsing. Housing officials are calling it a crises."In recent years, other aging cities have tackled the problem of abandoned housing with more success. Chicago, Baltimore and New York have aggressive programs to quickly identity and demolish buildings at risk of falling down. '
