Architect and smart code expert Ann Daigle resigns suddenly from Ventura's planning department to join Andres Duany's CNU-sponsored rebuilding effort.
"Ann Daigle, an architect and "smart code" expert who joined the city less than a year ago resigned Friday -- without saying goodbye to all of the staff... Her departure left many surprised and a void in an already understaffed department.
Daigle, a Monroe, La., native, left to be part of a series of community forums intended to plan the rebuilding of the coastal region, said Susan Daluddung, Ventura's community development director... Daigle will rejoin close friend and former business partner architect Andres Duany, who has been tapped to organize the redevelopment of the area through the Congress of the New Urbanism agency."
