Business Is Booming For Utah's Private Radioactive Waste Landfill

Business is booming for the nation's only privately owned and operated radioactive and hazardous waste landfill. Envirocare of Utah handles almost as much waste in the first half of 2005 as it did in all of 2004.
"Utah's desert radioactive waste dump grows bigger and bigger... Envirocare this summer won the division's approval to double in size onto property just north of its current location about 80 miles west of Salt Lake City. The company has said its current site has capacity enough for another 20 years..."
