Several Colorado town are taking steps to sidestep a new growth management proposal. Is democracy the answer?
Leaders of Colorado towns Broomfield, Superior and Erie have passed measures aimed at sidestepping the Responsible Growth Initiative should voters pass the growth management proposal into law at the polls in November. The initiative, which aims to restrict growth, would require development proposals in Colorado's more populated cities to be approved by voters.
