Outsourcing City Management

Sandy Springs, GA, is undertaking a bold experiment to outsource city administration to the private sector.
"The Governor's Commission on Sandy Springs will propose to the new City Council that the Colorado-based firm of CH2M Hill-OMI manage the city's administrative functions and run the hands-on parts of the government...As the governor's commission tries to create a city from scratch, it has been pursuing a bold experiment to outsource government services."
