Denver's Rising Housing Market

Before the ink fully dried on last month's records, the Denver area housing market in August set another series of them.
Prices continued to soar this month, hitting new highs for both the average and median resale prices of single-family homes, a report issued Friday by Perry & Butler Realty Inc. shows. The average price of a single-family home in metro Denver was $250,787 in August, up 19.3 percent from a year ago. That was also an increase from $246,939, a record set in July
