Booming Downtown Vancouver

Vancouver is experiencing an unanticipated traffic jam -- hundreds of baby strollers.

Unlike other renaissance downtowns, Vancouver is experiencing a surge in young residents. City planners are adapting to keep pace with the needs of these young residents.

All of that only scratches the surface of what's wrong with this study. The idea that complex urban development patterns and human behavior can be meaningfully studied according to one primary criteria — density — is wrong from the start.
