U.S. architects and planners will help develop a masster plan for Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.

Colorado-based OZ Architecture is leading a team working with Rwanda President Paul Kagame on a proposed master plan for a new, modern city center and airport. The first phase involves improvements and expansion to Kigali's King Faisal Hospital, which will also become the central facility for training physicians in Rwanda. The concept of a master plan is central to President Kagame's vision of making Rwanda into a highly educated, modern nation that will attract international investment.
