New bill related to preparing the environmental impact report for the proposed expansion of San Francisco airport comes under fire from critics.
New bill related to preparing the environmental impact report for the proposed expansion of San Francisco airport was blasted by critics "as an escape hatch for the airport from the state's environmental oversight rules." The bill assigns state and federal agencies the responsibility of creating the report instead of airport officials. " Silicon Valley lawmakers argue the bill is a way to exempt the San Francisco project from the California Environmental Quality Act."
