Workers Oppose Pentagon Plan To Shift Jobs To Suburbs

Defense workers near the Pentagon told legislators they would rather quit their jobs than move further out to the suburban fringe.
"Defense workers and contractors said yesterday that a Pentagon plan to shift 23,000 military jobs from urban areas inside the Capital Beltway to more suburban locations on fort compounds further out would prompt skilled workers to abandon government employment before disrupting their families' lives."
