Terminal Expansion: Not Without Curfew

In its decade-long effort to gain approval for a new terminal, the Burbank Airport Authority is examining the possibilities of a curfew.
Residents from Burbank and surrounding San Fernando Valley communities explained why they will not approve an airport expansion without a curfew. "We hear passenger jets and general aviation planes taking off all night. They have no curfew," said Gail Romero, a Burbank resident. The airport authority has launched a noise study to investigate the possibility of a curfew. There are a number of airport authority meetings this week for residents in the area to share their opinions.
