Movie Megaplexes Are Moving Downtown

Today's generation of movie emporiums are bringing the lights and action downtown -- in a new way.
Cities from Albuquerque to Pittsburgh are avidly building movie megaplexes in their respective downtown areas. The main reasons for this upsurge include: growing downtown populations, theater innovations that enhance the movie-going experience, diversification of developers' risk, improved urban management and constraints on suburban locations.
