3 June 2005 - 6:00am

"For months, the project, which is supposed to replace an aging and overcrowded Department of Veterans Affairs medical center east of downtown Denver, has been in doubt, as VA officials struggled to find a site large enough to suit their needs.
On Wednesday, Aurora Mayor Ed Tauer and U.S. Rep. Bob Beauprez said VA and Fitzsim ons officials have agreed the new Colorado veterans hospital will be built at Fitzsimons."
