Tsunami Victims Get Help From Phoenix Builders
26 May 2005 - 1:00pm
Efforts to rebuild village of Meulaboh, devestated in the Tsunami, get help from Phoenix developers.
"Phoenix and Food for the Hungry have raised more than $200,000 since embarking on the effort in early January. The money is paying for land rehabilitation, infrastructure rebuilding, education programs and small-business support, among other things...
One focus of this month's trip was figuring out how to remove salt water from agricultural fields and repair Meulaboh's infrastructure, which was greatly damaged in the tsunami."
