The research is in, and the results are clear: parks add economic value to cities.
Smart City radio show host Carol Coletta interviews two of the nation's leaders on park planning and advocacy.
Peter Harnik is director of the Center for City Park Excellence, an inititiative of the Trust for Public Land. Tupper Thomas is president of the Prospect Park Alliance and administrator of the famous Olmsted park in Brooklyn.
