Lifestyles, high gas prices, and the Smart Commute Initiatve combine to provide ample incentive to ride transit in St. Louis.

"Soaring gas prices already have more people riding MetroLink and buses. So it’s not a big leap to think that more people may be looking to live closer to public transit...Real estate professionals and residents feel proximity to MetroLink stations is helping their property values."
