Modular homes reach new heights: stylish, sleek, and even affordable.
A new phase for prefab, or homes made from prefabricated components, is on the horizon. The latest designs in prefab homes, some pioneered by architecture students at University of Kansas-Lawrence, are attractive, well-built, and stylishly modern. The next step to make prefab houses truly affordable: produce them on a mass scale.
