Vermont Town Wants Big Boxes

Voters in Bennington, Vermont reject a cap on retail store size.
Faced with an impending proposal to build a larger Wal-Mart in Bennington, the town's select board adopted a cap on retail store size. In a referendum on April 5, voters disapproved of the cap by a wide margin.
