Judge calls North Natomas plan illegal: Environmental concerns could halt development

With its proximity to downtown and the region's freeways, North Natomas has been seen as Sacramento's final frontier -- one of the city's last major areas available for development. With more than 11,000 acres, planners project that by 2030 it would have 62,000 new residents. Federal regulators illegally sanctioning the city's North Natomas development. The ruling that has the potential to halt building in the fastest-growing area of the city.
