Urban Affairs White Paper Released

The Brookings Institute releases a new white paper series on urban sprawl, crime, taxes, education, poverty, and related subjects.
The six papers in this inaugural volume are divided into two sets: a symposium on the past andfuture of urban research and policy, and general research papers on several urban or urban-related topics. Topics include: "A Decent Home: Housing Policy in Perspective", "The Future of Urban Research", and "Zoning and the Tax Treatment of Housing".
