Residents protest against dot-com development saying rising rents are eroding community culture.
Resident's in San Francisco's Mission district marched through city streets in protest again dot-com developmentsaying that the " rising rents are forcing people to leave and eroding community culture." Several new project have either been approved or are being considered by the planning commission. "'The planning department is ignoring the residents,' said Esther Marks, a former planning commissioner."
