Will EPA Objections Block Intercounty Connector?

EPA weighs in their objections and concerns regarding proposals for Marylands Intercounty Connector (ICC) construction.
EPA has objections to one of two proposed routes on the states Intercounty Connector (ICC), finding that the state's efforts to lessen the road's impact lack of needed elements for environmental protection. EPA also has "concerns" on another proposed route, however suggesting that proposal would be more acceptable. In 1997, the agencys overall rating on the proposed highway was "environmentally unacceptable."
