How to refresh streets blighted by aging steel and concrete parking garages?
Many a city’s downtown, including Milwaukee’s, is populated by parking ramps to make more room for cars to park. Yet, many older garages are a sorry sight to behold, and as Whitney Gould notes, “suck the life out of downtown streets.” How can these eyesores benefit from some urban aesthetic? Give them a facelift.
