DOT Plans TOD

New Mexico's Dept. of Transportation (DOT) seeks to complement pending rail service with a transit oriented development (TOD).
New Mexico's Department of Transportation plans to build a new headquarters and add to it retail, apartments and a regional commuter rail depot.
"The idea of putting a rail depot on the Transportation Department site is that commuters using rail service proposed to connect Albuquerque and Santa Fe could hop off the train and walk to nearby state offices."
