PCJ Editor Wayne Senville offers his opinion on the Bush Administration proposed elimination of Amtrak's budget.
"For passenger rail to be viable -- especially as a national system -- we simply must make a commitment to long-term federal support for Amtrak or whatever entity is charged with operating a national passenger rail service."
