Outside of the spotlight of celebrity architecture, entire sections of the city are being transformed.

Toronto has recently witnessed a spate of large projects by celebrity architects including Gehry and Libeskind. These projects hold great promise for a city craving an architectural renaissance. Less well reported are the efforts of numerous architects working in unison to bring a sense of coherence to adjacent development projects. In this article, Christopher Hume discusses the coordination of Context Development's Radio City condominium with the National Ballet School's Grand Jeté expansion and the rehabilitation of two heritage buildings.
