Cyclists' Critical Mass
10 February 2005 - 2:00pm
A mayoral candidate rides with a controversial cyclists rights group during a monthly protest event.
"He was running for mayor of the city rated as North America's best for bicycling. So, meeting with the biking community while campaigning was pretty much a must...Critical Mass started in San Francisco in 1992 to make a statement about cyclists' rights. The rides have spread to more than 200 cities globally, and generally occur on the last Friday night of the month."
