Is New Urbanism effective in countering sprawl? [Link corrected.]
"New Urbanism offers a way out of our need/hate dysfunctional relationship with the construction industry. The problem is that New Urbanism is still a drop in the bucket compared to conventional development. For the sprawl Juggernaut to be slowed just slightly, a great increase one might even say an immense surge is needed in both greenfield and infill New Urbanism."
