Who Are The Best Urban Journalists?

Otis White offers his admittedly unscientific evaulation of the best urban journalists and newspapers in the U.S.

According to Otis White who writes a column on civic issues, the best urban journalist in America is Philip J. LaVelle, a reporter at the San Diego Union-Tribune who produced 49 articles that made their way into his files in 2004. The best newspaper: the New York Times, with 208 articles.
