No Sprawl In Vegas
8 August 2000 - 7:30am
Las Vegas is not a sprawling city of low density and endless miles of asphalt, according to a study that compares Las Vegas to five other cities.
The only caveat to the study is the five other cities: Reno, Denver, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and San Diego. When compared to the othercities, Las Vegas scores the highest in residential housing density at 6units per acre but fares the worst in miles driven per day-at 27 miles perresident, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
